This week, Dane County Credit Union experienced an unforeseen and unfortunate situation like never before. It negatively impacted our online banking members by disrupting access to their accounts, ultimately weakening the revered trust placed in our organization. Saying goodbye to someone special is never easy. Our long-time friend, Paul Horstmeier passed away recently. He generously served the Dane County Credit Union for over a quarter century and will be sorely missed. 
It is important for credit unions everywhere to share the many ways they add value to their communities. It helps keep alive the essence of what financial cooperatives do best – to provide thrift (the practice of using your money carefully and not wastefully) and to make a difference for you and everyone in our community.
