DCCU announces new CEO

We are so happy to announce the promotion of 28 year DCCU veteran, Shay Santos, to the position of CEO!

“It is an honor to lead our organization. I have had the opportunity to learn from excellent leaders and it is my wish to continue that strong legacy,” he says. “Our continued mission is to provide members with high levels of service.”

During his career, Shay has been involved in many areas within the credit union, including accounting, information systems, finance and more; skills which enhance his new leadership role. “My focus is to build on the successes of the past, and to lead our organization through continued process improvement and member engagement.” Along with his diverse skill set, Shay holds a degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Business Administration from Edgewood College.

A native of the Madison area, Shay is instrumental in supporting Dane County Credit Union’s community involvement initiative and leads his team by example. Along with the many community service initiatives that the credit union participates in, Shay personally volunteers for Project Home, and Saint Vincent de Paul.

Staff and board are excited to have Shay Santos guiding the vision and execution of Dane County Credit Union into the future.

Jen has been with DCCU since 1999 not long after she graduated from UW Madison. As the Creative Director she helps share all the amazing things DCCU does in our community and spreads the credit union philosophy of People Helping People. When she's not creatively directing at work, she's busy directing 4 kids, 2 dogs and a cat at home. She formed her family through adoption and has a deep passion to support foster and adoptive parents and kids. Her favorite place to relax is poolside or in front of the fireplace.
